Your order
Before you pay you’ll see a description of each item and its options, the currency, the full known charges (items, shipping, taxes and any import charges collected at checkout), delivery information and these terms. You can review and correct your order before paying. Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed; you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of these terms and your order details.
Prices, currency and payment
Prices are set in US dollars (USD). When you view the shop in Canadian dollars (CAD) or euros (EUR), those prices are converted from the US-dollar price using the 30-day average exchange rate published by the Bank of Canada, then rounded up; they change only as that average changes. The currency is chosen automatically from your location, and you can change it at any time. The prices and currency shown in your cart when you check out are the ones you pay. Your card issuer may add its own foreign-transaction fees. Payment is taken securely by Stripe.
Availability
Original paintings are one of a kind. Items in your cart are not reserved until you start checkout, when they are held for a limited time while you pay.
Shipping, cancellation and returns
See the shipping, returns & cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms.
Commissions and custom work
Custom work begins only after you accept a written quote describing the work, price, revisions, timetable, delivery and any license, and pay the deposit it specifies (normally 30%, credited to the final price). If you cancel after work begins, any charge reflects the agreed work and costs already incurred — never the whole deposit regardless of circumstances.
Artwork, color and copyright
Measurements, materials and framing are described as accurately as possible. Colors can look slightly different on different screens, and room visualizations are digital composites that approximate size and color. Buying a painting transfers ownership of the object, not the copyright in the image; reproductions (prints, cards, online use beyond personal sharing) need Lily’s written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
