Palette-knife painting of a winding dirt path through wildflowers toward a turquoise mountain lake, flanked by tall evergreens, with pink-and-gray peaks under a pale sky.
Winding Path to the Mountain Lake — Palette-knife painting on canvas

Painting and teaching art are Lily’s true passions — so much so that, years after earning her degree in civil engineering and working in the field, she changed course to follow them.

Today she paints textured landscapes of turquoise lakes, evergreens and wildflower paths, along with pet portraits and abstracts. Flowers are sculpted in raised paint with a palette knife, so every canvas changes as the light moves across a room.

Her work is guided by soft color palettes, emotional atmospheres and imaginative compositions that create a sense of calm and connection. Alongside painting she teaches creative art to children and adults and hosts paint nights where first-time painters leave with a finished canvas.

“Every day I feel curious and excited to see where this journey will take me.”
